The miraculous regenerative

capacity of the liver

Gives any healthy person the power to

save another person's life . . .

. . . if only more people became aware of this awesome fact.

"What we do for ourselves dies with us.  What we do for others and for the world remains and is immortal."

-- Albert Pine

Our Story

My New Liver is a not-for-profit organization founded by father-daughter team Simon and Cassie Ho. Cassie was born with a congenital liver disorder called Biliary Atresia. By age 13, Cassie's liver was at end-stage and only a liver transplant could save her. Simon was a match and thanks to the remarkable regenerative power of the liver, he was able to donate a part of his liver to Cassie. On July 12, 2010, Cassie and Simon had a successful living-related liver transplant. My New Liver was born from Simon and Cassie's  passion and responsibility to giveback.
