OUR FOCUS
The Power to
Give Life Again.

The liver has a remarkable ability to regenerate, making living donor liver transplantation possible. We work to raise awareness of this extraordinary possibility—helping more people understand that, for eligible donors, a part of their liver can become a second chance for someone in need.
HOW WE CAN HELP
You Don’t Have to Navigate This Alone.
My New Liver was born from one family’s transplant journey. Today, Simon and Cassie hope to offer encouragement, share their experience, and help other families find hope along their own journeys.

One Story Can Open the Door to Another.
Living donor liver transplantation changes lives, but awareness begins with people willing to share their experiences. Your story can help others understand what’s possible, find connection, and approach their own transplant journey with greater knowledge and hope.

OUR STORY
A Family’s Journey Became a Mission.
My New Liver is a not-for-profit organization founded by father-daughter team Simon and Cassie Ho. Cassie was born with a congenital liver disorder called Biliary Atresia. By age 13, Cassie’s liver was at end-stage and only a liver transplant could save her. Simon was a match and thanks to the remarkable regenerative power of the liver, he was able to donate a part of his liver to Cassie. On July 12, 2010, Cassie and Simon had a successful living-related liver transplant. My New Liver was born from Simon and Cassie’s passion and responsibility to give back.
